Terms & Conditions

The purpose of these, is to protect both you and me and to ensure that everything is clear both during the booking procedure and on the day itself.

CONTRACTS

When a client first enquires about a gig, I will ask for all details i.e address, timings, act required, number of guests, dress code etc. Once I have all details, we discuss and agree the fee and any expenses.

I will send you a confirmation form and invoice and will need confirmation that all details are correct and you required to sign it and send it back to me. 

A booking fee is payable to secure the booking. Once this is paid, your booking is secured and 100% safe.

Please Note:  Your booking will not be secure until proof of cleared funds are received. 

This booking fee is non-refundable. 

PAYMENTS

The balance amount is payable no later than one week prior to the event. 

In the event of this being a problem, I am always happy to discuss ways around it.

Payments can be made by: Bank Transfer, PayPal, Cheque, or by Cash. A receipt can be given if required.

CANCELLATIONS

If you have a need to cancel a booking, then the following rates will apply.

This is because I’ve probably been turning away bookings on your confirmed date, so need to protect myself and recover some losses.

  1. 90 days or less - 50% of balance is payable

  2. 60 days or less - 75% of balance is payable

  3. 30 days - 100% of balance is payable

I will try as best I can to fill the date with another booking and if I am successful, I can and will reduce the amount you owe on the above.

NON PAYMENT

Non payment of the booking fee balance, means I will consider the event cancelled and therefore, unable to perform. Non payment of the cancellation fee, will be pursued through the courts.

INABILITY TO PERFORM

In the unlikely event that I am ill on the day, or for any other personal reason that prevents me from appearing, I will do my utmost to find a suitable performer for you. 

I will of course discuss everything with you at the time including the repayment in full of monies paid. In all my performing career, this has never happened.

CHANGES

Our agreement is based on the details discussed. Any changes to the event, must be communicated with me and agreed in writing. This includes details about; dates, venue, timings, numbers of guests, dress code and act required.
